"Affairs; a Threat to Ministry, Marriage, Family and Society"
Presenter: Lee Webster, MSW, LCSW, BCD
Extra Marital relationships continue to make headline news, as well as, affect every congregation and ministry. Although adultery has been a problem since the earliest times , it has taken on new proportions and direction in our culture. The internet and social networking have provided new outlets for this age old problem. In addition, current research gives us new insight into causes and steps which can be taken to prevent inappropriate sexual behavior and heal damaged relationships. Please join us for this educational program which is a continuation of our Pastor and Ministry Leaders Series.
Lee Webster has over 40 years of experience working with couples. Many of these couples have reconciled after having experienced affairs in their marriages. As the founder and director of the Center for Human Development, he is dedicated to strengthening and preserving marriages. As a Christian, he believes that marriage is a fundamental institution in our society that needs to be strengthened and preserved as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Married for 47 years he and his wife Barb both provide counseling services at the Center. They have three children and 13 grandchildren.
